A Respectful and Safe School Community
At PSI, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for all. Positive relationships between staff and families are built on mutual trust and a shared responsibility for student wellbeing and learning.
We value active parent engagement — it plays a vital role in supporting academic success and addressing challenges early.
To ensure the safety of our school community, PSI’s governing body has introduced a Parent Code of Conduct. This document outlines the expectations we hold for all parents and carers and the steps the school may take if concerns arise. All families are asked to review and sign the Code as part of their school partnership.

PSI has a whole-school administrative assistant who will be glad to help and respond to parents' inquiries during school working hours.
School Supplies
Find all the essential supplies your child needs for the upcoming school year by clicking the links below.
- All Grade 10-12 students must have a Texas Instruments TI 84 Plus CE graphing display calculator (GDC) for their math and science classes. This specific model is recommended by the IB and required from the start of the school year for learning and assessment. Without it, students may be disadvantaged, especially during assessments. While these calculators are available in Ukraine, they are often overpriced. Therefore, it is recommended to purchase them outside Ukraine to avoid extra tax costs. Other models may not be accepted for IB or PSI classes.
How do we communicate?
- The main language of instruction & communication is English, with key documents also available in Ukrainian. Parents should ensure they understand all school correspondence and provide current email addresses, as email is our primary communication method. For assistance with any school communication, parents should promptly contact the sender.
- Toddle is PSI's learning management system. It includes your child's schedule, units, assessment tasks, samples of your child's work, and teacher feedback.
- We use a Telegram channel to communicate all calendar reminders and news relevant to PSI families. This includes urgent notifications and air-raid alerts.
- The main school communication newsletter, called the 'Weekly Digest,' is released every Friday. The school sends this newsletter to all parents via email.
