PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION
When you join Pechersk School International, you don't just enrol your child in a school; you join a vibrant, international family.
As a PSI parent or teacher, you are automatically a member of our Parent Teacher Association (PTA).

Welcome to PSI Rodyna (family)
We are a diverse, collaborative community dedicated to supporting the school's academically challenging programme while keeping our student-centred environment joyful and engaging.
Put simply, our mission is to bring the PSI motto — A Place Where We Belong — to life every single day.
The PTA works in close partnership with the school leadership and faculty to foster community spirit and coordinate parent volunteers.
How We Make a Difference
The PTA works in close partnership with the school leadership and faculty to foster community spirit and coordinate parent volunteers.
Here is how we support our families and students:
Connecting Our Community
We organise a variety of social and educational events throughout the year. From morning coffees to our famous International Winter Festival (formerly known as International Night), we create spaces for parents, students, and teachers to build lifelong friendships.
Welcoming New Faces
Moving to a new school (or a new city) is a big step. Our dedicated Welcome Committee is here to assist new families, helping them settle into the PSI community and answering questions about life in Kyiv.
Enhancing the Student Experience
The PTA actively raises funds to finance community events, support student-led community service endeavours, and contribute to projects that directly enhance student learning and play areas.
Fostering Communication
We serve as a strong communication link between parents and the school. While we do not act as an advocacy group for academic or administrative issues, we love gathering new ideas from parents for PTA events and happily direct any other family questions to the appropriate school administrators.
Our sole focus is on supporting the education of our students and fostering positive, respectful relationships among the school's administration, staff, parents, and students.
2025-2026 school year in review
We hosted community events that became real moments of meeting: Oktoberfest, Halloween, the International Winter Festival, Kindness Day Bake Sale, Easter Eggs Hunt, and a Spring Family Gathering that brought together more than 80 families. We organized sixteen PTA Coffee Mornings — spaces for conversation, new friendships, and shared ideas.
Through Giving Tuesday and our charity auctions, we supported a life-changing surgery for Mykhailyk, our soldiers, visually impaired children, and families in need. We launched a renewed approach: fewer events for the sake of events — more initiatives that grow from the community itself.
Because PSI is not just a school. It is a community you want to belong to. And each of you makes it that.
Experience Our Community in Action
From our vibrant international festivals to charity auctions and whole-school celebrations, our PTA is at the heart of making these memorable moments happen.

Arts to Hearts - Giving Tuesday Charity Event
Coming together to raise funds to support our defenders and children in need shows our young learners what it means to stand beside others. It’s powerful, it’s real, and it’s the heart of our school in motion.
International Winter Festival 2025
Our International Winter Festival brought together 12 country tables, hundreds of stories, flavours, costumes and traditions — and around 400 people who chose to spend the day together, celebrating who we are and how far we’ve come.
End-of-Year Picnic
A joyful afternoon where we came together to celebrate the spirit of our community.
Meet the Team & Join Us
A school is only as strong as its community, and we rely on the passion, courage, and unique talents of our parents!
Volunteering with the PTA is a wonderful way to understand your child's educational environment, meet other international families, and make a tangible impact on school life.
