IB World School Status
PSI is the first and the only school in Ukraine that gained authorisation to teach the three International Baccalaureate ® (IB) programmes: Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme.
The IB programmes are regarded as prestigious, rigorous and relevant to students’ learning needs for the 21st century as well as the circumstances of internationally mobile families from around the world. Our curriculum and co curricular activities are regularly reviewed for quality and suitability to ensure that we meet the evolving needs of our community.
As a member school of the IB global learning community, we share a common commitment to the goals of the International Baccalaureate, which complement those of Pechersk School International.
New England Association of Schools and Colleges
We have been accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) since 2003.
In 2021, we began the process of acquiring NEASC re-accreditation and IB re-authorisation through the new Collaborative Learning Protocol (CLP). We are proud to announce that we received our renewed status in 2023. This ongoing commitment to accreditation highlights our dedication to continuous improvement and upholding the highest standards in education. Through CLP, we engage in collaborative efforts to ensure excellence in learning, teaching, facilities, co-curricular programmes, and the overall learning environment that defines PSI.
‘It must also be said here, that the resilience of the PSI leadership team and community has been integral to the success and more importantly, to the very positive process of learning, which has come from a very deep and thorough Learning Community Reflection. The community is to be congratulated for their successful journey; we consider yours an inspirational icon for other schools. That the community has succeeded in spite of COVID-19 and the invasion with all its related uprooting and challenges, is an inspiration to all in the global educational community. Our heartfelt congratulations.’
